What I learned from this project is that there’s a lot of satire in the daily life (if you love entertainment). The Parody satire is most likely the most popular one just because of all of the shows and YouTube videos. There are a lot of satires. For an example, the parody satire, the exaggeration satire, Horatian satire, juvenalian satire, incongruity satire, and reversal satire.
One of the satire example and video is the reversal satire. The reversal satire is basically reversing anything that would be normal into things that you wouldn’t expect. The video I watched was a Spongebob Squarepants episode where Spongebob and Patrick switch skins. This is reversal satire because usually, Spongebob has yellow skin and Patrick has pink. But they switched so that Spongebob has pink skin and Patrick has yellow skin. My group made up something kind of like thumbs up in a way because we had parody. And that activity didn’t happen because of the Coronavirus.
